Haha! Bet you did not think I could sneak another model into the March deadline, but here he is :). My painting mojo is on fire at the mo, so when the sun shines, make hay. This chappie is Kornak Gazarot, my lieutenant option fo the Morat sectorial force.
I really enjoyed painting him. I pretty much started straight after the carnival painting, as the more muted tones and uncomplicated paint job really appealed. It looks quite striking but the work involved is not very great. Minimal hi-lights, washes and drybrushing achieved most of the effects, with the colour spots doing most of the work to make the paint scheme interesting. The basing I enjoyed (as I always do. I love basing, it is the sweet spot where the model is nearly finished, and it adds alot of character to a model or armyl) and the shell cartridges, although fiddly to do, add a little more interest to the base.
NafNaf!
