Dreadball Forge Fathers Ready to Play Ball

I finally managed to get my Dreadball Forge Father team painted. The models, despite the horrendous mould lines, were actually pretty quick and easy to paint. I went for the Midgard Delvers colour scheme as I think it really suits the models, although I was tempted to go purple and yellow instead of blue.

Paints used:
Macragge Blue - spray can and paint pot
Averland Sunset
Ushabti Bone
Hoeth Blue
Bugman's Glow
Cadian Fleshtone
Mechanicus Standard Grey
White Scar
Rhinox Hide
Doombull Brown
Nuln Oil
Seraphim Sepia
Reikland Fleshshade

Basecoat:
Each model was given a dusting of white undercoat, then sprayed with Macragge Blue and once dry washed all over with Nuln Oil.

Armour:
This was layered with Maccrage Blue, leaving darker recesses, then edge highlighted with Hoeth Blue.

Skin:
Basecoated with Bugman's Glow, then the raised areas were given a layer of Cadian Fleshtone and washed with Reikland Fleshshade. I then highlighted the raised areas with Cadian Fleshtone.

Boots, Trousers & Gloves:
These were basecoated in Rhinox Hide, washed with Nuln Oil and then highlighted with Doombull Brown.

Robes:
Basecoated with two thin coats of Averland Sunset and then washed with Seraphim Sepia. Once dry they were layered with with Averland Sunset and highlighted with Ushabti Bone.

Armour Detail:
Areas of the armour that I wanted white, such as the 'beards' and shoulder plates where basecoated with Mechanicus Standard Grey, washed with Nuln Oil and then layered with several thin coats of White Scar.

Bases:
To mark the facing on the bases they were simply edge highlighted the front facings with a red paint.
