DZC - Scourge Prowlers

Scourge Prowlers

Happy Mothers day Mothers! Nothing like a few giant crabs to cheer you on your way, so I present to you a few crabbies Scourge style.

These are cheap walkers for the Scourge army, which are used to terrify the opponents heavy tanks as they have high energy rending claws that make short work of any armour they come across. They are also very cheap so if your enemy chooses to shoot at them they are wasting shots on an 8pt model and letting something more valuable go unscathed. I love them both for their functionality but also their looks. They have to be one of my favourite models in the scourge range, and I really enjoyed painting them too. There is alot less (if any) flat surfaces so the washes all blend together for a much darker look which I really like. It makes them look very menacing. I also magnetised them and their dropship, the intruder beta, so they can actually be mounted and dropped physically during the game, which I love to do as it looks so cool :)

Let me know what you think of them :)

It is a really fun scheme to paint which helps a lot as I can get through a fair chunk without getting burnout

  2. Never been a fan of the game but they do like fairly creepy, which is half the fun. Nice paint job.

It's def one of my fave games at the mo, but can see why it's not everyone's cup of tea. I like the scourge aesthetics, dry organic and creepy which makes them fun to paint (and quick :) )

Def some of my fave models from the scourge range. The organic feel of them really lends itself to the painting scheme
