Small Wraithknight Update

Heydeho folks & folkesses. Just a very quick update on my wraithknight conversion.

In the comment section for my finished WraithKnight post, Wilhelm pointed out something I had missed about the chalice arm, that it still looked very 'Skaveny' with the wood texture, amd he suggested some things I should consider. Well he was right and after mulling it over a bit I decided to make a few small changes to improve it a little. Forgive the slightly dodgy photos but my son is sleeping in our room, so my desk is out of bounds at the mo :)

I liquid greenstuffed a few layers over the wood effect and then sanded it down to a smooth finish so I can paint it metal, and added rivets/buttons (not decided how I will paint them yet) to break up the flat surface. I drilled in some piping and used my masq-mini tentacle maker to knock up a few coils to run over & under the surface. Quite small changes but I think they have made enough of a difference to make it less fantasy like and more sci-fi. What do you guys think of the change?

NafNaf out :)

    1. Thanks Carl :)

It is only a samll addition but it does add a little extra to the model, and I feel happier about it now I have done the changes

  2. 'Frankenstein' is my immediate thought, which I think is probably apt with the constructed nature of this thing, a proper freak for the freak show.

    1. Yeah Frankenstein, I never really considered that but he is very freaky mechanical puppet like in look, I can see the reference. I like :)

  3. The devil is in the details. Small adjustments like that go a long way on an already awesome conversion.
