One cleansing flame probably enough :). Apart from that think my list going to stay pretty much as it is, it's pretty rounded, not sure how it will fare against tournament Necrons but will find out next week.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064326714469733963.post-84422382588220364812015-03-02T11:25:23.626+00:002015-03-02T11:25:23.626+00:00Haha yeah they were less than stellar in both the ...Haha yeah they were less than stellar in both the battles. I do have a typhoon speeder in bits but never added it to any lists I used. If these two are any good i might get it done as well.

You never know, maybe we get drawn against each other at bw9 ;)NafNafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15788927908701998169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064326714469733963.post-81467183306055549702015-03-01T00:55:17.379+00:002015-03-01T00:55:17.379+00:00looking good mate, i can vouch for the effectivene...looking good mate, i can vouch for the effectiveness of multi melta land speeders too, if not their survivability - i tend to take a typhoon launcher on them as well just for the extra couple of shots!

don't fancy facing them though!Triple Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18002702481127525157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064326714469733963.post-73156583289032649262015-02-28T22:05:08.506+00:002015-02-28T22:05:08.506+00:00Thanks :)

I really had to force myself to get these painted, as I was on a roll with the carnival stuff (and enjoy it much more tbh, as it pushes me as a modeller and painter, and creating a theme is a real blast)

I do like this army, and am happy with the paint job, but it just hurts sometimes to switch. I really have to get this SW stuff done though, as I want to have fun playing on te tabletop too, and the current models I have don't yet make an effective and balanced list. Once I get back into them I will enjoy it again, just a different pace tis all.

I do love painting the faces. It is my fave part in the scheme, and is one of the reasons why most of my SW models all have bare faces :)NafNafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15788927908701998169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064326714469733963.post-4829148978818962812015-02-28T22:01:18.132+00:002015-02-28T22:01:18.132+00:00Line highlighting...I hate it. The first unit I ever painted for these I used grey with lots of line highlights but it nearly killed me doing it, so I wanted to get a scheme that was simple and quick to paint, that looked pretty good and enabled me to get a force onto the tabletop fully painted.

I really like the gritty feel the washes give to the metal, and it has the added advantage of doing all the highlighting for me, for no extra effort :)NafNafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15788927908701998169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064326714469733963.post-87482916077292537132015-02-28T21:48:42.210+00:002015-02-28T21:48:42.210+00:00Wow what a sudden shift. It's so simple and yet so effective. It's like creating an NMM effect with TMM paints! Zabhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07000817078818838705noreply@blogger.com
