Now I have them in the cabinet it is not too noticeable to me at least really, and you are right that the varying skin tones can add some nice variety.

Lol :D age of Sigmar is a game I am not going to play. I have too many games on the go at the mo so I cant invest in another, especially with GW pricing :)NafNafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15788927908701998169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064326714469733963.post-25992895384759083352015-07-03T16:35:12.683+01:002015-07-03T16:35:12.683+01:00I love it, and now you can use them for AoS as wel...I love it, and now you can use them for AoS as well :-) I think having the one as a slightly different color works in this case because it adds variety to the skin tone as compared to the armor or something that needs to be more uniform.Joe Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580338400200714419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064326714469733963.post-26105781333251127832015-07-03T12:52:03.200+01:002015-07-03T12:52:03.200+01:00yeah that's why I went with mine. I found a load on bits sites and ebay mainly for pretty cheap, so I did not have to buy the overpriced finecast ones :)NafNafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15788927908701998169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064326714469733963.post-41560738001504167732015-07-03T12:38:45.483+01:002015-07-03T12:38:45.483+01:00They are lovely, I had mine "spare" as I...They are lovely, I had mine "spare" as I bought 4 HE chariots to swap the fronts on the old raiders as I really didn't like the look of them. The alternative is chaos hounds for cheapness, but the elven look of the lions wins hands down.JamieMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06206287212346614676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064326714469733963.post-20756386861221374672015-07-03T11:07:36.285+01:002015-07-03T11:07:36.285+01:00Hey thanks Tea Urn :)

I really want to push mine to get the whole thing done this month as they do look great all together.

ps. I was not sure when I started if the idea would work (and if I could find enough lions without the chariots) but happily it has all come together nicely. I am quite excited to get it all finished and post up the group shot. Not shown a few of the models on here yet, and all together it really works.NafNafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15788927908701998169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064326714469733963.post-40178425378305980152015-06-30T22:57:19.750+01:002015-06-30T22:57:19.750+01:00Yes thats true :) I should really start to log wha...Yes thats true :) I should really start to log what paint I used, as it would be a massive help when it comes to things like this.

As a side note, I only recently discovered the joys of making my own glazes. I was using just the GW ones before but managed to make my own and it is Bloody marvelous! :D. Works wonders for blending and especially for flat surfaces like the sides of raidersNafNafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15788927908701998169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064326714469733963.post-49118520201911522832015-06-30T22:32:36.237+01:002015-06-30T22:32:36.237+01:00One of the nice thing about bloggings...is by blog...One of the nice thing about bloggings...is by blogging, you make a record of stuff :). I can't for the life of me remember how I painted them before. When they are put together it is not too noticeable, so I will leave it for this lot. Knew I should have written the colour choice down last time :)NafNafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15788927908701998169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064326714469733963.post-34395279534101183762015-06-30T22:22:34.728+01:002015-06-30T22:22:34.728+01:00These models have a really good sense of forward m...These models have a really good sense of forward motion when based just on their own.
